Clear night

No stars at the beginning of the investigation progressing to a full sky by the end

"The substantial remains of an abbey of Premonstratensian 'white canons', probably most notable for its lavish roof-height refectory built around 1300 and other monastic buildings." - English Heritage

 

We do not normally travel so far but on this occasion we ventured to Richmond, North Yorkshire.

The two members of our team who are mediums set off into the graveyard alone. We all venture towards the Abbey, one member notices his full camera batteries have drained. We enter into the Abbey and introduce ourselves.

11.20 We have no response to requests to set off the sensors

11.23 Began the séance. One of our mediums can smell fruit & the other sees an image of someone in the crucifix position on the wall

11.35 We leave this room after gaining no responses to our questions

11.40 most of the team venture over a high wall to investigate the adjoining field and buildings

11.58 One of the teams mediums picks up the name Rould (which we later find out is the name of the gentleman who commissioned the Abbey), he also gets the name Rodger.

12.18 One of our mediums is touched on the lower back  when re entering the dining room & picks up the name of Father Paul

12.30 Church bells are heard to ring by many members of the team, we believe they could have been from a nearby church but we understand they are not allowed to ring at this time of night.

12.41 We return to the ceiling part of the Abbey where our mediums smelt fruit & saw a the crucifix figure . We set up the sensor. 

12.47 The sensor  was only activated once on command.

12.51  We concluded our investigations at Easby Abbey

Final conclusion-

No concrete evidence found of spirit on this visit

Travelling in two separate cars the team arrived separately. Team A arrived at 10.11 and waiting for Team B who arrived at 11.00

Wharram Percy Investigation

13th November 2011

Wharram Percy is a deserted medieval village near Malton North Yorkshire.

"First settled in prehistoric times, Wharram flourished as a village between the 12th and 14th centuries, before final abandonment in about 1500" -English Heritage

We love Wharram Percy, it is one of the first places we experienced something, it's a beautiful place, full of archaeology, calm, peaceful & the logo for

'Bridlington Ghost-Hunters Yorkshire'

Four of our team attended Wharram Percy on the 13th November 2011. We introduced ourselves asking for any spirits to kindly come to talk to us.

We set two motion sensors inside, one facing a window and one facing the bell town based on past investigations. We positioned ourselves and asked any spirit to let us know they were there by walking past a sensor and setting off the red lights, the one facing the window went off twice on command, but after that nothing. The photographers captured this.

We went outside around the pond and into the graveyard . We tested  the sensors in the wind to rule out this making them go off earlier in the church.  After investigating outside and finding nothing we went back into the church and set both sensors facing the windows, this time one sensor was activated upon command but only once.

We thanked the spirits for allowing us to attend the site and made our way back to the car park, on the way back across the large field at 11.25pm three members of the team made their way thought the kissing gate, while waiting to proceed through the gate one team member used his torch to look to the left of him on the ground, at this moment he saw a pair of light grey trousers, he moved his light up to the mid drift assuming it was one of the team, upon his realisation that all of the team were already through the gate in front of him he jumped and came through the gate. The teams main photographer took photographs of this 'adult spirit dressed in light grey clothing' and this is what appeared.

Investigations

Here are a few photographs from recent investigation by the Bridlington Ghost-Hunters Yorkshire team.

This was taken in the fields around Watton Abbey. What do you see?

 

We are not into 'orbs' but we do like mist, we always try to debunk anything we find but there was no mist or smoke present at the time & this is the only photo in a series taken with mist on.

Upon leaving a location recently one of the investigators was left still to come through the kissing gate, he looked around near his feet with his torch and noticed a pair of legs in light grey trousers, he moved his torch upwards thinking it was another member of our team, upon reaching the waist with his torch & realising that the other 3members of the team were at the other side of the gate in front of him our investigator  jumped & came through the gate to join us, at this point we took photographs are captured this on one of the photos.

Bridlington Ghost-Hunters Yorkshire

We are a local paranormal team that are based in Bridlington who are into the paranormal and want to find evidence that life after death exists. A couple of years ago we thought we would find locations to visit and do some Ghost - Hunting. We were new to it and didn't really know what to do, but the more we've gone the more we learn and get some good results on audio and camera. We can't 100% say they are ghosts, but we can't explain what we find.  So if you know of any stories or locations please let us know, no matter how small or daft it may sound.
